Captain Marvel. Release date: 8 March 2019. We’ve hit 2019, and the first confirmed superhero film will be the first proper female-led MCU film.

Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with questions about her past and identity when Earth is caught in the center of a galactic conflict between two alien worlds

Avengers: Endgame

The film was announced in October 2014 as Avengers: Infinity War – Part 2 but is now “Endgame” – it only seems like two minutes ago that Infinity Wars was in the Cinema. Even though I have it on Prime and watch it almost weekly to the annoyance of my wife.

Filming began in August 2017 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in the United States and United Kingdom on April 26, 2019.

Well with 2019 upon us I think its time to start to focus on some X-Men as well as Avengers.

With upcoming films:-

  • Dark Phoenix (2019)
  • The New Mutants (2019)
  • Gambit (2020)

The Punisher – Series 2

The Punisher Season 2 is going to be released on Netflix on the 18th January 2019.

Black Panther (2018)

Black Panther was one of my favourite films of 2018, awesome visuals and graphics and if you have not seen it yet check out the clips below. Its available to buy on our store from amazon as well – enjoy.

“Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Ryan Coogler, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole, and stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther, alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. In Black Panther, T’Challa is crowned king of Wakanda following his father’s death, but his sovereignty is challenged by an adversary who plans to abandon the country’s isolationist policies and begin a global revolution.” Wiki

“Thousands of years ago, five African tribes war over a meteorite containing vibranium. One warrior ingests a “heart-shaped herb” affected by the metal and gains superhuman abilities, becoming the first “Black Panther”. He unites all but the Jabari Tribe to form the nation of Wakanda. Over centuries, the Wakandans use the vibranium to develop advanced technology and isolate themselves from the world by posing as a Third World country. In 1992, Wakanda’s King T’Chaka visits his brother N’Jobu, who is working undercover in Oakland, California. T’Chaka accuses N’Jobu of assisting black-market arms dealer Ulysses Klaue with stealing vibranium from Wakanda. N’Jobu’s partner reveals he is Zuri, another undercover Wakandan, and confirms T’Chaka’s suspicions.”
