My opinion on mobile phones, tablets and memory
Well this is my own opinion and you can take it with a pinch of salt, but why do we pay for a phone/tablet with an increased cost just due to memory?
I noticed this when I was pricing up my last phone purchase. Anywhere from £50 to £300 pounds on the market leaders. That’s a big difference in price for what probably does not cost them that much to produce.
Why, why, why would you pay this with Cloud Storage and the internet, just install google and it will auto back up your data including images (or any other free cloud base), and I doubt the average user will go over 15 gigabytes storage.
Done a bit of a compare on my amazon – so to sum it up when you buy your next phone whether it be Samsung, apple or any other mobile, do you really need to buy the phone with the most storage?
Smart Cities of the future – are they that far away?
With technology advancing every day and the way we interact and live in our day to day lives changing so quickly its hard to keep up- the stuff movies are made of seems to be here now. Looks like Back to the Future and the Sci-Fi movies of the past coming true.
The key to all these technologies is the connection between humans, tech and nature. The roll out of 5G telecoms and smart technologies is increasing in pace. Smart Tech seems to be integrating into all our lives more everyday. Making it simpler to interconnect technologies.
There is lots to look forward to – hover cars, self driving cars, AI technologies, Smart Homes, Robotics to name just a few. These are the things I want to write about and interest me.
Then I also think we are achieving advances everyday – working smarter more efficiently. Why is there still poverty across the world, conflict and famine? Maybe once we are no longer reliant on oil as a driving factor and move out of the production methods killing the planet we could make the world a little nicer for everyone?
I see “Printed Houses” on Twitter and recycled container apartments and loads of other great ideas – yet these technologies don’t seem to be getting to the people who need them quick enough. How do we change this? Is a change in culture needed?
Well that’s enough for now – we will have lots more on individual smart city technologies in the future.

Programming Languages a need for change?
Well I am new to the programming languages and have just started to learn Python in my spare time. I love to learn and have recently also learnt DAX, M, and I know the basics of some others including TSQL.
Now that I have learnt a few, they are all different in many ways and I can see why, you basically need the right tool for the job.
But I am just wondering if their is a more simple way of making one single universal language that can be taught from start to finish in our Schools.
Just like standardised measures in the industrial revolution would this spark more innovation? A new highly adaptable language a hybrid that takes the best from each?
I know it could be messy but sometimes if you go back to the beginning and do it in a different way, you learn and make a better version, what do you think is it time for change?
Tech & Gadgets
Technology and Gadgets are a passion of mine and I like to try and keep up to date with everything out there. Sometimes things move very fast and its hard to keep up, but I am constantly seeing new and innovative tech.
With this in mind I am going to start sharing more of the cool tech I see on a daily basis, and hopefully help you make an informed decision as to what might be the best choice for you. I would also like to hear what you like and if you recommend anything – it’s something I would like to develop and move forward.
In the last few months, I have mainly being buying things for value for money rather than brand. Finally moving away from some of the apple products I had been using for years. No longer tied to the OS I feel a lot more impartial in the selections I make. It seems their is life after apple as I am starting to discover, and its also saving me a small fortune.
I am trying to stay impartial with my decisions so I will add my own opinions, also give you the option to comment on your own so people can make up their own mind.
So in the next few weeks check back to this page, lots to come from wearable tech, just got my new smart back pack and blue tooth earphones, starting to get to the Cyberman antenna stage, now that’s a different article all together.
